About
Born in 1980 VDj Randall is known for his unique talent in music & video mixing. Randall has over 20yrs of DJ nightlife experience. Randall gained recognition & began his journey throughout high school in 1996 entertaining private parties and school dances. He was self-taught from 2 technics 1200 turntables and a 2 channel gemini mixer. He also was fortunate enough to get a crate of vinyl records at a garage sale. In 1999 he worked at a local music store along with a couple other music stores down the street in Salinas, Ca. Randall then discovered The Dj Booth Muisc Co. which opened in 2001. He would spend countless hours and earnings on buying viny records. His interest in various music genres growing up was quite unique as he grew to specialize in 80s Hits, Freestyle and 90s House music. During his journey he gained rognition & reputation. When Randall turned 21, he had the opportunity to entertain every weekend at Club Octane/Hippodrome in Monterey, Ca. He set the bar high for many Djs especially when he introduced Music Video mixing through out the Central Coast. Since 2008 until now he is known for being a versatile open format Dj in both English & Latin music.
VDJ Randall is featured as a VDJ for many Hip Hop events/ venues / nightclubs as well for many artists such as Too-Short, E40, Turf Talk, Mack10, Clyde Clarson, D-lo, Sage the Gemini & more. He also has been known for house music/edm events in and around San Jose, Ca & regualarly at 201 Main Nightlife / Salinas, Ca. He has opened for Dj Colette Retrospective Tour 2017 followed up by another event with Freestyle with performancy by Timmy T.
Vdj Randall has held residencies from San Francisco to Sanjose 2 to 3days a week for 5yrs & current residency on his 3rd year at 201 Main St. Night Club in Salinas, Ca. Representing The Dj Booth Music Co.
