Multi-award winning songwriter & producer. I started my music career in 1995 hosting the Afternoon Drive Show at Bush Radio in Cape Town. I went on to join P4 radio in 2000. Moved to JHB to start Silk T Production in 2002. As a producer I've worked with the likes of Dantai(SAMA nominee 2000 for Best Newcomer), KB(SAMA Best R&B 2003,Metro FM Awards - Best Newcomer 2002, Best Female, 2002/3/5), Adilah(Coca Cola Popstars), Magesh, Guffy, Tkzee, Phelo(Bala Brps), Gugu Shezi, Opp, DJ Siyanda. Internationally I've collaborated with Osunlade who's made hits for the likes of Eric Benet, Vivian Green to name a few. Worked with Harrison Crump on his latest album. I've also done remix work for Amabala records(UK), Soul Jazz Records(UK),Nuyoshi Records(NYC), Black Mango Music. I released my debut album titled "Uncle Terry" in 2007. Amongst other things I've also written music for TV programs such as Backstage(theme song), Gazlam1 Soundtrack and a lot of production music for TV & radio adverts.
