String & Bates

String & Bates are a live act and DJ duo from Ireland currently based in Dun laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Since 2011 the lads have been creating live sets and DJ performances at festivals such as Life festival, Fuinneamh Festival, Electric Picnic, Mongo, Boxed off, Subsonic (UK) and Secret garden party(UK) regular club appearances on the Dublin & UK scene with some massive warm up slots in District 8, Dublin (Tale of us, Vitallic, Mauro picotto) and Index (Ejeca Trance Wax) and regular appearances on the Bristol scene in the UK with appearances in Basement 45 & Lakota with local crew Lower the tone. In 2015 String & Bates took to the airwaves of Dublin's Phever 93.2fm hosting Friday night slots with regular local guests. In 2017 the pair took to the studio and began to work on techno creations of their own with sessions to devons analogue studio and a release on Irish techno label Day and Night recordings in 2019 and launching a new party bringing Dublin DJ's together in a Local Dun laoghaire Bar for Dj sets in their new hometown, cementing their efforts to bring Techno bangers with a drop of Jameson to the good people of Ireland and beyond!
