Narx The Strange

Le’Strange (also known as Narx, Rejected Orchestra, Oppenheimer & Nemesis and Smilez) is a writer, lyricist, DJ and multi-genre Music Producer from Pretoria, South Africa.Born Linda Nick Ndaba (1994-December-23), Le’Strange began his musical career an underground rapper and Hip-Hop producer. Shortly afterwards, he fell into DJying while gate crashing parties in High School and even earlier, listening to Soul Candi albums prior to the year 2010.Le’Strange only began producing in the year 2009 as a bedroom hobbyist before founding and becoming the head producer of The Rejected Orchestra music collective from Pretoria, South Africa, alongside his close friend and fellow rapper Asi-Muthal (Sifiso Moloi-Siga). The idea was modelled by the concept created by Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz.Leaning towards the dance scene, Le’Strange DJs mainly a psuedo-minimalistic style of music which resonates unobstructed levels of groove, which is battered eclecticly with techno DNA in its sound.His most preferred styles of production include Minimal, Deep-Techno, Deep- House, Hip—Hop, Trip-Hop and Downtempo. His influences are from various genre’s; producers, artists and labels such as I’M Kay, Claire (Kenway), Shcaa, Weston and Engine, Hydro (ZA), Luis Mora, Dr Dre, Mac Miller, L’Orange, Kognitif, Theivery Corporation, Ours Samplus, FreshWaterBeatz (Khalil Masia), Musik Kollectiv, Loob Label, Niukid, Krad Records, The Gorillaz.
