About
Mio is a natural performer while on stage, and has been a performing DJ for almost 20 years. In the past Mio has also performed live mixes on several radio stations in Canada as well as Cuba. Most notably was a resident DJ for DanceRadio.ca and Groovenergy.ca where he held a weekly guest spot opening for artists such as Hatiras. Mio has also had mixes played on Conexion 98.1 in Veradro, Cuba.
As an open format DJ, Mio is very comfortable on several different performance stages from small dance clubs to large festival stages mixing various styles of music and keeping everyone dancing and entertained with the most recent club cuts and radio remixes from the top record pools in North America. Mio has opened for many DJ acts including Alex K, Hatrias, Angel Alanis, Hunter Siegel, DJ Kamikaze, DJ Brain, Brandon Langella, Jon Kennedy, Tokyo Cartel and DJ Trapment.
Currently Mio is working on new music producing new unreleased music for Jon Kennedy’s Oxin Records and Content Records. He is also currently collaborating with ZXX out of Chicago, Illinois.
