Born in Switzerland, the man with Spanish roots, began his journey into the world of electronic music at a young age, awakening an instant love for the genre. His musical journey took root around the age of 15-16 in the harder styles of Techno.
He was fascinated by the more powerful and aggressive genres of Rave music.
Exploring the variety of Techno and Hardcore, he dived into a bunch of divers’ styles, ranging from Progressive and UK Garage to Acid, from Techno, Hardtechno & Schranz, Hardstyle, and Hardcore. These genres are the ones who became the influential dynamism behind his love for the Rave scene.
In the early 2000s, together with a friend, he began learning the art of mixing, using vinyl and two Technics SL1200MKII turntables. Progressive and also Hardstyle where the ones who resonated in his sets at this time, but it was Hardcore that became his signature sound. Setting his love for the Gabber Rave scene. Hardcore became an integral part of his daily live.
The essential point came in November 2004 when he secured his first booking at Hardcore da Struck, hosted at the Niaxa Club in Bülach – a well-known venue at the time. This marked the beginning of a two-decade-long journey that is still going strong today.
Playing under his alter ego, M4stril has graced major events, clubs, and venues across Switzerland, covering from the German to the French part, and even proceed into the Italian part. He also had few gigs in Italy and Austria.
With his sets he has left his mark on renowned clubs and events such as Niaxa - Bülach, Biella Factory – Biel, RKC – Vevey, Fri-Son – Fribourg, OXA – Zürich, Sektor11 – Zürich, Eventhalle – Erstfeld, Eventhalle – Bülach, Saalbau – Basel, Borderline – Basel, Stadthalle – Dietikon, Dynamo – Zürich, Alte Kaserne – Zürich, MÄX – Zürich, Komplex 457 – Zürich, Altes Gugelmann Areal – Roggwil, Race-Inn, Roggwil, St. Jakobshalle – Basel, Garden Club – Winterthur, Gaskessel – Bern, Globulle – Bulle, Kheops – Martigny, B.Lack – Salzburg (A), Florida – Ghedi (IT), and many more.
Including iconic mayor Raves such as Thunderdome Switzerland, Masters of Hardcore Switzerland, Sonic, Hardsoundz, Mythos, Mission Festival, Pandemonium Switzerland, Hardcore Italia, Army of Hardcore, BKJN vs. Partyraiser Swiss Edition, Hardcore will never die, Alles naar de Klote, Megarave Switzerland, Pussy Motherfuckers Switzerland, Footworxx and a lot more. Collaborating with renowned event organizers all over the country. Established himself as an unstoppable force in the Swiss Rave scene.
After two decades, his hunger and passion remain unmitigated. However, recognizing the still enduring love for other Hard Styles of electronic music, he dives into the hard styles of Techno under the name M4stril focusing on Hardtechno and Schranz. These Genres, more alive and freer than ever before, keep him with the freedom and energy to start over and be a part of the Rave scene for many more years.
