FNGRS
About
FNGRS is a DJ who believes the best sets take time, patience, and occasionally an eight-year break to get right.
Rooted in trance and progressive music, his sound is built on slow-burn tension, emotional pull, and basslines that don’t rush anything because they don’t have to. What started as deep, emotional trance shaped by heartbreak, healing, and questionable life decisions eventually evolved into a heavier, more physical sound where melody, pressure, and release all know their role.
After stepping away from the decks for a very reasonable, totally planned eight years (for “life stuff,” obviously), FNGRS returned with sharper instincts, better restraint, and significantly less interest in filler or microphones. His sets let the music do the talking, avoiding the constant shout-outs and over the drop commentary that dominate so many modern dance floors.
FNGRS has brought this approach to both underground and iconic spaces, including Burning Man and clubs across Los Angeles, where his ability to read a room and build energy methodically has earned him trust from crowds who appreciate immersion over interruption. His sound moves fluidly between melodic late-night trance and darker, driving, techno-leaning territory always intentional, never rushed.
Known for extended sets and emotional pacing, FNGRS creates space for people to feel something, reset, and then stomp the floor when the moment finally arrives. It’s not about fireworks or shouting it’s about pressure, release, and remembering why you fell in love with the music in the first place.
