DeeJay Froggy

Born and raised in a small town next to Milan, north-italian DJ class 1984, Riccardo Claudio Alberto Rossi, also known as DeeJay Froggy, began to hear and to love electronic music in 1999, all thanks to the FM frequencies of his favourite radio station. Former basketball player, Froggy decided to be involved into musical industry when he saw the DJ who was spinning during his very first evening into a club. When he saw him putting his hands on the turntables, having a lot of fun while rocking the crowd, his first though was: "That's what I want to do!". Then, in 2004, he finally bought his first console, with which he trained everyday about 5 hours a day in order to improve his mixing skills. In that year, he made his first live set during the first year's eve party organized by some friends, and that was only the first of a huge number of gigs that Froggy collected among clubs and private events in northern Italy. In 2005, he began to collaborate with some web radio stations, and with one of them he was able to organize parties in the best clubs in Milan, such as Limelight, Karma, Beach Solaire, Black Hole and Tropikana Club. Finally, during the summer 2012, he had the occasion to spin live on the stage of the World Bodypainting Festival, in Austria. Froggy loves to define himself an "alternative" DJ, because he never liked to follow the typical Italian musical trends, and he created a melodic dimension of his own that made him discover so many musical ways, from Latin styles to Dutch ones, even to tribal music. Actually, in his DJ sets, he manages to add high energy sounds for festivals and clubs, as long as more smooth kinds of music for happy hours.
