ELOW

Whats up everyone! My name is Chris and i go by the alias DJ ELOW. I've always been a lover of music from all flavors and backgrounds. My passion started around 9 yrs old when i discovered my parent's collection of Salsa, Hip Hop and Disco records from the 80s. I would sneak on an LP when nobody was around and probably ruined a few styli along the way, but i instantly discovered a life-long hobby. The feel of vinyl and putting needles to records is unlike anything else; CD's and DJ Controllers don't even come close. The evolution of technology naturally pushes things forward as older obsolete music mediums become less and less available. After 5 or 6 years of sore shoulders i decided to incorporate a laptop as long as it didn't become the centerpiece of my DJ sets. Today, after 14 years of switching from Vinyl to CD's to Controllers, i'm happy to say i'm back on a set of turntables alongside Traktor to entertain my audiences. I currently work at inMusic as a Graphic designer for AIR, Sonivox, and MixMeister.
