While a lot of DJs define themselves and their careers based on playing one style of music or another, I've always enjoyed the cross-genre approach. In a sense my style is genreless.

To use a musical analogy I'd say that my style follows that of improvising Jazz musicians. They generally know how and where they will start and end their music sets but what goes in the middle is all in-the-moment improvisation based on their own feelings, emotions and crowd reaction.

Fortunately, this type of improvisational-anything-goes style of playing music does have a name: Balearic (you can read more about it in the links below).

More than a particular type of sound, Balearic is a feeling. The feeling that the right song is the one that creates a direct and immediate connection with other ones around us, makes us move our feet and puts a smile in our souls.

I don't play to educate my listeners (ok, may be a little bit) or to please a particular crowd.

My sets incorporate a wide range of music styles, from 80's remixes, to chill-out tracks, deep house, trance, electronica and anything else that makes us move and feel good. It's my hope that throughout the night everyone gets to make a connection with the music and use the dance floor to express themselves. Discover Balearic!
