Bojan Matkovic;DJ MATE, known by all the friends and everybody on electonic scene was born 26.05.1976 in a small town Brezice located in south-eastern part of Slovenia.His first connection with electronic music was on one party in Zagreb (Croatia) in year 1994.Impressions were so strong that he started DJ-ing in less than three years.In 1997, together with DJ CAMA, he tryed to find himself in different genres of electronic music.When he bought his first record in 1997, he started to appear in front of people, first time in KD Bizeljsko, where he shows potential for successfull musical career. His favorite style is house with variations in deep, tribal & tech. As a resident, he played in well-known clubs in Slovenia like Tesmo (99), Termopolis (99), Ambasada Gavioli (99-00), Jukebox (02-03) Space Club Otočec (09/10). Hissets were listened trough all the country (Ljubljana, Maribor, Celje, Izola, Novo mesto, Crnomelj, Metlika, Brezice, Krsko, Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroskem, Murska Sobota...) in Croatia (Zagreb, Zadar, Pula an island of Brac) and Austria (Innsbruck), France (Lille) & Bosnia and Herzegovina.He was invited to play for the third time on one of the biggest festivals in Slovenia named TEMMIKA in Murska Sobota and also made his appearance in 2 day festival on the Castle of Sevnica near Krsko where his name only grow bigger.He shared decks with world famous djs like Tyler Stadius T-Bone, Terry Francis, Colin Dale, Dj Ali, Pure Science, Dave Mothersole, Haris, Richard Grey,Chris Lake, Marshall Jefferson, Jonathan Ulysses, J Jeff, L.E.Bass, Diesel , Collin Patterson, Manoel Vanni, Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, Marko Nastič but in the future this list will getting longer. .
