Apoxia
About
From a very young age Zach aka Apoxia, has been obsessed with music. From his first (plastic) saxophone (when he was 2) to his first guitar and keyboard Zach has been creating music his whole life. He first learned to DJ in Highschooll when asked to do the music for a school dance and had to learn how to DJ on the fly with rack mounted CDJs and a small battle mixer. It wasn't until he was 18 that he discover the joys of creating Electronic Music. It felt natural, especially with his background in music theory and piano. Over the years Zach has toyed around with serval different monickers one of the more familiar being Barbarossa, which lasted through most of college untill he changed it to Apoxia which is the name he goes by today.
With what seems to be a mishmosh of musical styles Apoxia tries to have some semblance of a theme to his albums, the first 3 album release he had covered 3 of the different styles of music he constantly produces. Trap/Futurebass, House, and Electro. Apoxia's sophomoric release After School Special was an experiment in sampling off of vinyl to create mostly hip hop style beats and 2 great old school house tracks.
Apoxia's junior album Death to Music is still in production and will contain 3 distinct styles of music Dubstep, Future Bass, and some Techno.
