APac

About

Before becoming a filmmaker by trade, APac (aka Alexandro Pacheco) made waves in the non-profit performing arts sector. From 2001-2012, he worked for the world renowned modern dance company,

In 2015, he made a decision to return to school and graduated Cum Laude from both the Borough of Manhattan Community College and the film school at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: his need to dance. He is surrounded in life by his ever-loving friends who over the years continue to support every ambitious effort he has put out into culture. These are the friends with which he annually met under the disco ball at New York City’s legendary Rites Black Party, who for the most part were all members of the Saint nightclub in the 1980s. It is that culture that keeps them all close. By giving them the music which drives house parties we all now throw for each other, reunions like ours on New Years Day @ 11A in Brooklyn, NY, can continue to reunite for years to come.
